Before
Documentation of the staircase before Colors Wood Floor Corp began the work. Only observable, on-site conditions are shown — no assumptions about original construction, prior contractors or original materials.
In progress
The first stair tread was purposely extended beyond the original footprint so the base of the staircase reads wider and more welcoming. The extension anchors the visual composition of the stairs and creates a more elegant entry point to the space.
Finish
After the extension was in place, our team completed the stair surfaces in a light wood-look finish. The finish visible in the photographs was installed by Colors Wood Floor Corp. The specific product used on this project is not identified here.
Completed
The finished staircase reads as a single cohesive modernization — first-step extension and stair finish completed by Colors Wood Floor Corp. The metal-and-glass railing system visible in the final photographs was installed by another company.
